Dear Adoptive Parents,
Effective January 1st, 2008 the total fee for each immigrant visa applicant* (including adopted children)* increased from $380 to $400 payable in U.S. cash only. If a second adopted child is unrelated to the first one, an additional I-600 application fee of $670 is also charged. You can pay these fees only at the Consular Section.
