In 2005, the USCIS (INS) issued 4,605 visas for Russian children adopted by American families, making this one of the largest programs for international adoption.

The children available are Caucasian or in some regions Eurasian. Russia offers some of the youngest children available for adoption. It is possible to adopt a child as young as 6 months of age. Children are available for international adoption after 6 months on the national registry.

Once you receive a referral you will be supplied with their medical information and photos (region dependent).
Adopt Abroad Inc. will help arrange an independent evaluation by a physician specializing in international adoption evaluations.
